6 Uncommon Christmas Flicks
Yuletide surprises are here. Watch these uncommon Christmas flicks to spark holiday cheer where you may least expect it!
1. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
Each year everyone talks about Die Hard while forgetting Lethal Weapon is also a Christmas Movie. Writer, Shane Black, would later create another Christmas crime movie with Kiss Kiss Bang Bang featuring top-shelf Robert Downey Jr. wit, one of Val Kilmer’s last great roles and a rippin’ hot debut from Michelle Monaghan.

2. Better Watch Out
It’s a Christmas slasher flick with an unusually hilarious tone. It’s bloody but the humor outshines the violence in this one, making it an unusual but fun choice for the Holidays.
(Prime Video, AMC+, SHUDDER, Tubi, Roku and more)
3. Rare Exports
A Scandinavian horror movie where both an ancient sinister Santa and something else… are unearthed. It’s wild, fun and packed with surprises. If you’re in the mood for something completely different, watch Rare Exports!
(Tubi, Peacock)
4. The Ice Harvest
A top notch crime/mob caper that plays out over a cold Christmas Eve night in Wichita, Kansas. John Cusak and Billy Bob Thorton are both great but Randy Quaid absolutely kills it in this movie cementing him as a Christmas movie legend.
(Worth RENTING)
5. The Long Kiss Goodnight
Previously perceived as a mediocre action movie (at best), The Long Kiss Goodnight has since aged into a classic Christmas action flick. Gina Davis is a total badass and Samuel L. Jackson outperforms his supporting role in the best way possible. It’s 90s action movie magic with a heavy dose of Holiday cheer!
(PlutoTV)
6. Christmas Bloody Christmas
This one is for METAL HEADS ONLY! The first half features long winded discussions of Metal bands and oral sex. Once the action starts it turns into a hyper violent, neon laced massacre of a movie. If that doesn’t sound like it’s for you… trust me on this one, it’s NOT.
